A unit of rangers from the 31st Ranger Taskforce staked out at a bypass road along the Thai-Lao border in Ban Khun Huay Krai village in Tambon Tap Tao and spotted a motorcycle driving at a fast speed at 9.30pm. The rangers pursued the motorcycle until the rider lost control and fell onto the roadside. However, the motorcyclist managed to flee into the roadside forest. The rangers found a bag, which contained the drug, near the motorcycle.
