cliveshep
May have been posted already by others in the same situation. I did my annual extension of stay 2nd visit this morning to get the stamp in my UK passport. I used the 400,00 in the bank for 3 months prior to application method, that was 5 weeks ago. This morning I had to withdraw money from my bank, get the passbook updated and provide photo-copies proving that I had maintained the 400,000 baht minimum balance since the application. So if there is anyone in any doubt that is the principle followed by Chang Wattana Immigration in Bangkok. I don't know if the money had to season for 2 or 3 months prior to the application, I assumed 3 months but we leave that money untouched all year anyway. If 3 months then that has now been stretched to over 4 months.
ubonjoe
It only has to be in the bank for 2 months on the date you apply for the extension.
