Music Recording Studio & Multiple Business Visa (How To Get)

Featured Replies

hello there i'm here in UDON THANI i'm a musician and i have recording studio for online projects only i have setup at my home to make perfect sounds but next question is how to i register my recording studio all my customers are online how to a get business visa on behalf of this i'm lost i would be glad if someone could guide me

thank you.

Unless you formally set up as a partnership/company that can employ you you won’t be able to get a “business visa”.

If you are commercially recording — even if online projects at home — you are breaking the law and on very dodgy ground.

Setting up a company is expensive and often unfeasible. You can only own 49% with 51% being Thai owned. You need at least 4 Thai employees if you want to work for the company. And 2 million baht of registered capital.

I suggest you contact a local lawyer if you’re serious about setting up business, and I’d recommend you keep quiet about your ‘work’ until you’ve legitimised it.
