Hi there,

I have a question: after living in Thailand for a couple of years, I returned to Germany in 2012. I would need now a credit check from Thailand now and saw that the National Credit Bureau is the place to go for getting a credit record. Is there any possibility to get this record from abroad? Or can I ask a friend in Thailand to go there with a copy of my passport? Or do I need to go to Thailand? btw, I do not have a Krungsri account as I saw that they are offering such a service as well. Thanks a lot, Best, Alex

When I got a copy of my report last year (BTS Sala Daeng office) I had to appear in person to “order it”, but I could allow someone else to pick it up with a consent form.

Naturally policies do change, so I’d call to find out, but given the rather personal nature of the information, i wouldn’t be surprised if a personal appearance wasn’t required at some point.
