Hi, I will be going to Penang this week for a visa change> What hotels do you all recommend? Also, does anyone know if there are any Malaysian holidays this week or next. Thank you catnip

There are many cheap hotels in Chulia St, downtown. Swiss hotel, Continental, for example.

For more up market places look at the Batu Ferenghi area.
