Recommended Posts

It's 50+ period!

Also your calculation would be wrong. At the moment it is 800.000 at a bank or around 70.000/month or a combination of both.

Ehat it will be in July? Still did not hear or read anyhting final.

No change for the retirement visa Dutch. It was 800,000 baht or the combination, and it remains the same post July. The marriage visa increases from 200,000 baht to 400,000 baht in July.

The only way for an under 50 is to marry a Thai, or invest 3 million baht in Thailand

in a government bank or a condominium.

Not applicable to me as I am already sorted, but what Dr PP says could help a pal out. He is under fifty and has a top end condo he bought in his own name a year or so back for way in excess of 3 million Baht.

Could this allow him to apply for a Retirement Visa or some equivalent? He has all the TT3's and so forth fully documented.

Thanks

Phil

That would be excellent if someone could confirm the above poster. I am a condominium owner. Cost 4 million baht bought a few years ago. I too have all of the relevant documentation relating to the purchase. Any type of one year visa based on this purchase would facilitate my stay here tremendously.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Ps. I am under 50 :o
