The secretary general of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission will today brief Cabinet members about the requirement for them to declare their assets to the anti-graft agency within 60 days of being sworn in.

Speaking to reporters before the Cabinet meeting, NACC secretary general Worawit Sukbun said he would brief the Cabinet before its first weekly meeting.

Worawit said the new NACC law extended the deadline for Cabinet members to declare their assets from 30 to 60 days with effect from the date on which they took an oath of allegiance with the King.

Worawit said the new law also requires ministers to declare the assets of their common-law spouses, or those with whom they have not registered their marriage. NACC. The previous anti-graft law only required a declaration of assets held by legally married spouses.

Wonder what Toad Boy will declare this "time" ???

He don’t need to declare. Timely intervention by NACC with a peculiar policy that he and 6 other generals in the cabinet have declared when they were NCPO ministers in 2014. We wouldn’t know how much these 7 fortunate ministers have bloated their assets last 5 years,

The NACC going to brief crooked ministers how to avoid being investigated by it? Wonder why they didn't do anything such with ministers in previous cabinets (maybe about as crooked as the members of present vultures' team, but still...). Though considering what has become of the NACC under the military dictatorship, nothing to be surprised of, is it...
