justin case
I have a mitsubishi iMch-55VS water pump that is not shutting down anymore even no water is used. I closed all valves to it, to be sure there is no leak. It still keep spinning and not auto shutting down I was looking in home pro and the machine is not made anymore but same is about 6000 baht Now I was looking at lazada and they have very cheap thai water pumps at 1/3 or less of the mitsubishi is this reliable ? anyone tried ? fredob43
Have you tried your local pump repair people. They can normally come up with some sort of fix. My local one sorted my one out last year and it's still going strong. Do yourself a favour don't buy a cheap Thai pump. I had one when I first moved in and it lasted 6 months before going T/Ts up. Took it back to the shop and they said oh it Thai so no guarantee just put it in the bin.

This iMch-55VS is an expensive inverter pump. I see many sources to buy but prices in the 15k to 18k region. BUT: don't you want to give it a repair attempt? I could be wrong, but isn't the grey housing a pressure switch which might be the source of the problem?

justin case
thank you still wondering if a 1000 baht lazada pump would work for my setup... if it only lasts a year...would be ok...
sometimewoodworker
Since the pressure switch is likely to cost about ¼ of the Lazada pump you can always spend more money for a less good result, and buy a pump that has no guarantee, that may be OK
