Currently have a Multi Non O based on marriage to my Thai wife runs out in April 2019, it was issued in London. I am considering applying for the Extension of Stay at Thai Immigration  (30days before any 90day ends) based on Marriage 400,000 baht seasoned two months before applying.

   Ubonjoe posted a link showing documents required, The one I am questioning is Wife’s housebook registry ??

 

Is that the blue book, yellow book or is both required, problem is that she says the Blue book is in her Son’s name ??

It does not matter whose name appears as the head of household  in a blue house book.

What is important is that your wife is is registered in one.

Your wife cannot be registered in a yellow house book.

I meant to write his wife could not not be in a yellow house book.

So to get things straight Wife must be registered in the Blue book only ? And a yellow book is not required for the application ?

A Thai person is always registered in the blue housebook. A farang in the yellow housebook.

He can not have a blue book as he is not PR.

You can have a blue housebook if you're the owner of a house (not the land) or condo ,but the book will be empty,unless a Thai person officially lives with you.
