1 year multiple entry non O at Savannakhet

Featured Replies

I am planning on going to Savannakhet to get a new 1 year multiple entry non visa O on my Filipino Wife's NON-B and work permit. All paperwork and documents are done, and all above board. My question is, there have been on other discussions, quoting, 1 year multiple entry non-O are NOT now being issued, only 90 day, and was wondering if this applies for Savannakhet. I am new to this forum and would appreciate any current real information on this issue. Thank you.

There is no nearby embassy or consulate that will issue a multiple entry non-o visa based upon being a family member of person working here.

You can only apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration after getting a single entry non-o visa.

Sooo, can you get a 1 year non-o multiple entry at Savannakhat?

Only if married to a Thai.

Or retired, unless there has been a change since December 2018.

Due to the changing 800k requirements I'm doing the Savannakhet run again for a 1 year Non-O based on marriage after having been on a retirement extension for the last year.

Can someone please confirm that Monday and Thursdays are when the hordes come from Bangkok and that if I go the on Tuesday to Wednesday I should be OK?

Also, is this still the complete list of papers to bring?:

So Tuesday and Wednesday are still the days to do it then. OK, will book accordingly. I will also bring a paper confirming we're still married just in case they ask for it.

Would really hate to show up and find out they just changed the rules and that it's now required. Only costs about 20 Baht anyway.
