Two Chinese nabbed over fatal shooting

Featured Replies

Preah Sihanouk provincial police yesterday arrested two Chinese nationals over the fatal shooting of a countryman in Sihanoukville.

Brigadier General Kol Phally, provincial deputy police chief, said the shooting occurred at about 8.30am in Sihanoukville’s Bei commune. “We arrested two Chinese men suspected of shooting dead another Chinese national,” he said. “Now our police officers are working on the case.”

He did not identify the suspects who are being questioned at the provincial police station. “I can’t remember the names of the suspects or the victim and we do not know the motive for the killing yet,” Brig Gen Phally said. “We are still questioning the two men.” “They shot the victim and threw the body from their vehicle in the commune before driving off from the scene,” he added.
