TM6 Arrival Cards

Featured Replies

Are we still completing these cards when we arrive at bkk? I read they're being phased out.

Only for a few asian nationalities. All others will still have to fill in the lovely TM6 at arrival in Thailand. ????

Only for Thais at this time.

Everybody else still has to do them.

Eliminating TM6 cards completely is being only discussed at this time.

I just had to fill another one in. We live in hope.

really, i think to remember that it's allready final desicion to be removed?

I sent 90 my days report by mail a couple of weeks ago to Chiang Mai immigration and told them I had lost my TM6. They returned the report approved with a handwritten note that said: "No problem, everything is OK.

No TM6, can't complete TM30, right? What's the alternative?

Better to do it on the aeroplane?

Yes, only Thai nationals are exempt.

Excellent point.......thereby NOT being one of those idiots holding up the queue at Immigration...anyway, it's easier on the aeroplane and relives the boredom for......oooh, 3 minutes! ????

I always have a spare and fill it in before going to the airport. Much more comfortable.

Rather a TM 6 than waste a day having to go & fill in a TM 30 as my landlord (Thai) wants

nothing to do with it

Was it difficult to keep it stapled inside your passport?

Waste a day? Where are you staying?

Even more comfortable keeping it stapled inside the passport where it's almost impossible to lose.

And you can't figure out why?

And how did you manage to get one? My experience is that they hand them out like they are something extremely 'valuable', give only one at a time, quite amusing....

Earlier you could get as many as you wanted at the airport just before immigration.

I asked. Same as when I make my 90-day or annual visa run to Laos. All done before arriving at the border.
