Does anyone know how long it will take to do a border run here? I need to know if it will take an hour or two so I can plan my journey. I want to drive there and park by the border. I have a multiple entry marriage visa and I just want to exit and then re-enter. I would also like to know if you have to wait, say if I get there at 7am will I have to wait hours for the transport?

should be quick, depends on how many there, stamp out of Thailand, there is a little office who will sort out the transport across all for less than 1,000thb.

You should allow at least 1 hour. It doesn’t normally take much longer than that at the most.

yes less than an hour, some nice places to stay near to the Thai border post

Depends how long it takes to get the minibus filled up. My experience is that they wait until they have a few onboard before they do the short trip. My best has been twenty minutes from getting on the bus to getting back off. Never been as much as an hour. Is that little office that organises it open at 7am? Are you serious? You must have a very tight schedule if longer than 1 hour is a hassle.
