with all the posts recently about red-stamps in passports and hassles at some of the border consulates, i would just like to report that things still seem to be "same same" in Penang. Just received my umpteenth t-visa from my good friends at NJ Bookshop on Chulalia..

my passport has as many mixed 30-day airport entry stamps and t-visas (mostly from penang) as anyone i suppose but no nasty red stamps or the like from the nice folks at the thai consulate here.

penang is the same as usual...BOORING :D everyone here seems to be sleepwalking through life :D hotter than heck right now too. will be glad to get back to funtown tonite :o

Excuse my curisity but you posted in another topic barely 10 mins before you posted here that you regularly used embassy certified income letter for retirement extensions. Why are you now reduced to a tourist visa?
