new here and already pleading for help.

I am currently in vientiane to apply for a nom-b visa.

All was going well until the office saw my last non-b and asked me gor the letter of cancellation which I don't have obviously.

I cancelled my work permit in june and paid a fine for a 1 day overstay at the immigration.

my work permit is also stamped as used.

fortunately my old employer sent me a copy of the letter and i nees to re-apply again.

not sure it is gonna pass.

has anyone heard of it?

what is going on?

 

when i told the agent that all was already cancelled and that the immigration kept the letter he just told me 'no letter no visa'

I think you need s letter from your old work starting your last day.

yes.

i got a black and white copy and all's good now.

But i still couldn't find any information on this for the visa requirement.
