Good morning,

I am in Thailand on a retirement extension.

Just moving to Phuket from another province.

My next 90 day report is due on 20 January.

I am currently in an apartment in Phuket with a one month contract that ends on 23rd January and will be moving to another room in the same apartment building on that date.

My question is: Should I go to immigration and report my change of address to Phuket now, and do the 90 day report a few days early, or wait until I change rooms on the 24th, and therefore do the report a few days late.

Is moving to another room in the same apartment building reason to go and do a change of address all over again.

I will be at immigration late next month also to do my yearly retirement extension.

Thank you.

As I have leeway of 7 days after the 21st Jan to do my 90 day reporting I am thinking maybe wait until I have the new apartment contract on 24th and then go to Patong immigration on that day (a Friday) and do my change of address and 90 day report then.

As I may need to leave Thailand at a moments notice due to an elderly relative in the UK the contract would be renewed monthly, so the worst I lose is a months rent if I suddenly have to leave for a while.
