Taling Chan police were notified at 1 pm on Tuesday (January 14) of a shooting incident near the residence of Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Chalermchai Sri-on.

A 9-mm bullet was fired at the premises of an international company, cracking the glass door to the office and just missed the head of a female employee inside, it was reported.

The property is divided into three parts: Interphonic Thailand Co on the left , Baan Daolom Duen restaurant at the centre, and Chalermchai's rented residence on the right, where he has stayed for the past four years.

The motive of the shooting is yet to be known, police said. The incident took place in mid day but no one was hurt.
