Visa Extension

Featured Replies

ok, guys...just a simple question. I normally get a METV visa and do a visa run after 60 days, then leave at 60 days or just before. This year due to circumstances...aquired the METV, did a visa run yesterday...so have 60 days now...m return home ticket is 10 days AFTER my 60 days are up....can I go to immigration in Jom tiem ahead of time to ask if they will extend my visa...or do I just take a chance..percentage wise....how easy is it to get extension???

You can apply for a 30 day extension of your 60 day entry for a fee of 1900 baht. It is standard procedure to do them.

Edit: You can do the extension during the last couple of weeks of the 60 days.

Is that correct?  A 30 day extension can be applied for on the last day of an entry gained from an SETV/METV
