A video doing the rounds of social media showed an expert snake catcher from the Ao Nang municipality in Krabi in southern Thailand capture a four meter long, 5 kilogram King Cobra with his bare hands.

It took the adept man from Ao Nang Search and Rescue just 5 minutes to get the venomous snake under control after locals in Ao Nang Soi 2/1 called them in.

Suree Naewhat was the man; he said that catching a snake with your bare hands helps to guard against the creature not being hurt, something that can happen if a noose on a stick is used.

But he advised this is only a course of action for experts - Don't Try This at Home!
