Masked Crusader! Foreign woman praised for handing out face masks to Thais!

Thai social media was full of praise for a western woman who was featured on a Facebook post handing out face masks. 

 

Poster Prachaya Opor Chitrabeab thought the woman and her partner might be lost in the Chatuchak area after she saw them get on and off the buses three or four times. 

 

No! They were handing out free masks to the drivers and conductresses on the buses. 

 

Many people in the Thai capital Bangkok are wearing masks to guard against the recent smog and the coronavirus, notes Thaivisa.

In a normal world\country it should be the government job

to give protection equipment to the citizens in case of major health public problem.

 

What about to ask to the 1% of the richest (Who are the ones having the most financial 

benefits from the china tourists invasion in the last years) to use a very little part of their money

to buy face mask for Thai people? ????

Public price for this one is 17 bahts

 

You can also have this one. more elaborate but less confortable

(The 2 elastic bands are imo too short and thin for a ''normal'' westerner head size)

These are not N95. They might help but are less effective.

"Out of stock" in most places. Prices are going to go up for what stock remains.

They seem to sold out or selling at tenfold of the regular price now.

As usual everything ass about face in Thailand where the locals should be handing out masks to Foreign Tourists !

This lady was obviously trying to send a message.

Something along the lines of " BMA, why have you not even considered protecting your citizens / workers from a potentially lethal Virus ? "

Also known in pre corona hysteria panic era as sunglasses. Not uncommon.

No, in a "normal world/country they would not be burning the fields and exposing their citizenry to a toxic living environment so, there would be no need to provide masks! ????????????

199 baht at a Pharmacy in Naiharb Beach, Phuket

From now on in Hua HIn or in BKK, I will only go out dressed like this...so the noble patronizing tourist need not worry for me mask...and the hammer is for any chinese who would dare come to close....
