Yaba Gang of Jomtien Arrested

A major Yaba dealer gang of Jomtien was arrested in the area between Jomtien Soi 2 – 3, on 7th April at about 5 am.

Under the “Pattaya 50 Police Project”, all police divisions are cooperating to suppress crime in and around Pattaya. They discovered that between Jomtien 2 and 3 there was a place where a gang dealt drugs and weapons so began an investigation of the area.

All together 250 police officers gathered to make the arrest of six members of this gang together with a large amount of drugs, guns, cash and stolen gold jewelry. The suspects and evidence were found in Yuree Guest House located in Jomtien Soi 3.

Other than that, the team was also able to arrest 13 yaba addicts; 10 men and 3 women, who were also in that location – taking yaba tablets.

All were taken to Dongtan Sub-station for questioning where they were charged. As for the dealers, further investigation will be done on them about the source of where they got the drugs from and other dealers they work with.
