The elderly people aged 60 years old up can produce their national ID cards to get free Skytrain rides from Friday till Sunday.

The Songkran Festival is considered a time for family and for younger family members to show respect for their seniors

A holder of a Thai national ID showing they are 60 or over should be fine, but bet the passenger {assuming the passenger is falang} would get some odd looks. I'm reading it on the basis that national = Thai not national = other countries, but there again it is the Nation, that bastion of clarity
