Traveling From Chiang Mai, Where Best To Get Tv?

Featured Replies

What's the easiest/best/cheapest (yes, all three please ;-) to go to, from chiang mai,

to get a tourist visa?

Air asia has flights to kl, but apparently only once a day, and corresponding very badly

with embassy hours, arriving around 15 in kl, and departing before 09.

This means, I think, I have to spend four days to get a tv this way, arriving one day,

applying next day, pickup up the day after that, and departing on the fourth day.

Can anybody recommend a better way to get a tv, when living in cm?

Believe the cheapest is probably bus to Udorn/Nong Khai/Vientiane.

Thanks. Has anybody done this recently, who would be willing to give

a newbie/dummies guide on how to do this?

Don't suppose there are any organized tours for this from cm, like

there is (used to be?) to maesai?

Also, NokAir CNX to Udon Thani then the minibus whatever to the NK bridge, just to save some weary bus travel. Always used to do Vientiane for TVisa (have B now), like staying one night near the river, sunset bars, good cafes, bread, food near the fountain. Nice trip every three months.
