Yesterday i went to the immigration office in NongKhai to renew our "family" non o.visas

under the new immgration law paraaf 7.19

1 retirement Non O

2 Non O dependent visas

a new attitude......every peace of paper had to be checked and then double checked by a newly stationed female sub.supervisor.

even the fax was used (for what i dont know)

long story short

As i have mentioned many times before.......stick to the rules and no problem whatsoever will occure, see that your paper work is propebly done.

They enforce the law.....not make 'm .

Again no problems diffirent attitude but fairly treated.

by the way

there is no official "slang" for "grandfatherclause" as i understood when the guy beside me mentioned that.....the immgration officer asked in thai to his companion if this was a aprilfools remark..........just stick to let them know that you like to get things done under regulation nr 7.17
