Transfer stamp to new passport at Jomtien

I did it last year and I had to go back the next day (and I always go in first thing in the morning). I don't recall the exact details but I know I didn't sit around Immigration waiting for any length of time.
I do recall it didn't cost anything and when I went back to get my passport I was in and out in a couple minutes.

Have to do it again this year when I renew my passport (long story) but I'm not anticipating anything different.

Went today at 0830. Pick up tomorrow at 2pm.

At least it's nice weather right now !

Was the place busy when you were there ?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Don't go early in the morning, especially on a monday or after holidays. Either go about 11am or after lunch, 1pm. Wednesdays -Thursdays are the best. Very few people, especially at the desk where you transfer the stamps. Did you get the letter from your embassy/consulate for immigration?

Not very busy but not worth going that early.  I suggest 9.30 onward should ensure no queue  at the door waiting for them to open.

British citizens get the letter from VFS at Trendy when they pick up the new passport. It is already 'stamped' you just fill in your details.
