Mother beheaded to ‘exorcise ghost’

Featured Replies

Police on Sunday sent a man with suspected mental problems to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court after he was arrested on Saturday for murdering his mother in Por Sen Chey district’s Chaom Chao II commune.

Deputy district police chief Chea Sovann identified the suspect as Eam Samnang, 32, and the victim as 65-year-old Hak Sokha. They had lived together in a rented room in the commune.

Sovann said the suspect has a cruel personality and if he was kept at the district police office, he could commit suicide.

Na, it just produced another ghost.

He may commit suicide if kept at the police station.

Ok give him a length of rope with a noose and leave him alone for a few days, or until the smell gets a tad strong

solved the problem of the low ceiling though.

Lots of beheadings going on today. Is it that time of year?
