Hello,

 

  I am from Turkey and I have been working in Thailand for almost a year now which means my current contract is nearing its completion. My company has agreed to extend my contract for another 6 months but the work permit will be extended for another year. I wish to know if this is complying/aligned with the Labor laws that an expat can get a 6 months extension. I was under the impression that the contract has be of at least a year, and I may be dead wrong. Appreciate your opinions/suggestions.
