Some Business Related Dialogue

heres some phrases that were taken from a thai person who purchased some car speakers and had problems with obtaining warranty work and a refund.

some parts of the conversation were left out. There may be some small mistakes, but nothing that would change the meaning of the phrase.

Im compiling a big list of phrases/sentences in order to communicate on forums without having to type anything

I hope this small contribution can be of use to others.

ครับ = krub

ซับ = sub

แอมป์ = amplifier

ลำโพง = speaker

ทวิสเตอร์ = tweeter

ปรีแอมป์=preamplifier

หลอด =tube

คู่ = pair

รูป = picture

ตู้=box

ตัวนี้ = this one

ใช้ = use

ขับ = to be used

ได้หรือเปล่า = can be used?

ช่วย = help

แก้ไข = solve a problem

ให้ = for you

นะ = alright?

สวย = pretty / looks good

จริง = real / really

สภาพดี= good condition

สภาพ=condition

ขาย = sell

กำลังขับ = power to drive speakers

ไม่ได้= cannot

ต้องการซื้อ=want to buy

มือสอง=second hand

เสีย=broken

ปัจจุบัน=now, the present

การซื้อขายเ=to sell and to buy

กำลังเป็นที่นิยม=is what is in demand

นะ=ok, understand?

แต่=but

ระวัง=be careful

จะถูกหลอก=going to get ripped off(tricked)

เหมือนผม=like me(male)

คือ=the reason is

เรื่อง=situation

มันอย่างนี้=this is how it is

ช่วงก่อน=before

ประมาณ=before

ปีใหม่=new year

วันที่=on this day

กว่า=over

ของ=for

เดือน=month

ต้องการ=have a need for

ยี่ห้อ=brand

ยี่ห้อหนึ่ง=a certain brand

แต่พอดี=but, it happened like this instead

ตกรุ่น=old series(brand)

ไปแล้ว=already went/left

มีแต่=all that is available

รุ่นใหม่=new series(brand)

ไม่อยากได้=do not want

ผมเลย=so i

หา=look for

รุ่น=series

ที่ว่าเนี่ย=the one im talking about

จนไป=so i went

คนขายของ=the person selling the item

คนขาย=the person selling

ในเน็ท=on the internet

เค้าบอกว่า=this person said

เค้ามีของ=they have the item

เป็นตัวสุดท้าย=the last one available

ของบริษัท=of the company

แต่เป็นของลองนะ=the demonstration unit

หมายความว่าเคยต่อลองมาแล้ว=this means it has previously been used

ตกลงกัน=an agreement between us

ผมก็มาหาเค้าตอนกลางคืน=so i went to see him/her at the middle of the month

หาเค้า=to go see

ตอนกลางคืน=during the middle of the month

ตรงนี่ยอมรับว่า=this point i must admit

ผมประมาทด้วย=i made a questionable decision also

น่าจะ=i should have

มากลางวัน=come /went during the day time

จะได้เห็น=so i could see

สภาพ=condition

จ่ายไปเป็นเงินสด=i paid cash

สามหมื่นบาท=30,000 baht

วันรุ่งขึ้น=the next day

ต่อลอง=connect and test

ฟังที่ร้าน=listen at the shop

ได้ยิน=i heard

เสียงแปลก= a strange sound

ข้างหนึ่ง=one side

เอามาดู=bring it to take a look at

ทุกตัว=every piece

ทุกตัว-is in good condition

ไม่น่าจะ=it doesnt seem like

เคยถูกต่อลองใด=in the past have been tested for usage

ยกเว้น=except for

ข้างนึง=one side

หมุนได้รอบ=could spin one complete revolution

มีรอยขาด=it has a tear mark

มีรอยบัดกรี=it has a solder mark

พี่ที่=the technique of

เจ้าประจำ=my usual person

เค้าพูดคำเดียวว่า=he/she said one word

นี่มันรอยจากการซ่อมนี่หว่า=what? this is a repair mark!

ผมก็เถียง=so i argued

เข้าข้างตัวเอง=on their side

ของลองน่าพี่=this is a demo unit(speaking to someone older)

เค้าก็เลยบอกว่า=so he/she told me that

ของลองบ้าอะไร มีรอยต่อ=what kind of crazy demo has a repair mark?

ของมาจาก=the item came from

ไม่ต้องกลัวของมีประกันถูกต้อง=dont worry, there is a valid warranty

แล้วเค้าก็ให้ผม=

ไปหา=go to look for

เองเลย=by myself

ต้องถ่อไป=i had to carry it to

ในวันธรรมดา=on a regular working day/weekday

ทำให้=it made me

เสียงาน=missed out on work

เสียการมาก=inconvienenced

แต่ก็ต้องไป=but i had to go
