Moonlover
There's a gourmet burger restaurant in Egypt that it will serve up a burger complete with edible gold leaf for a cool 1,188 THB. If you're a bit strapped for cash you can have the cheaper one with silver for 940 THB. I never indulged in these particular delights, but I have to say their burgers were the best I've ever had in my life. It is added merely for effect and luxury. I've eaten it, I've used it on food at parties, still have a book of sheets in my kitchen. Either you've never actually eaten 24k gold, or you were scammed. 1
