The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has ordered the temporary closure of several schools in and around Phnom Penh.

 

The schools are Russey Chroy Secondary School, Hun Sen Russey Chroy Primary School, Saang District, Russey Srok Secondary School, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province, Kolap 1 Primary School and American Intercontinental School’s Chak Angre Branch, Phnom Penh Thmey High School, SIS School, Phsar Doeum Kor Branch.

 

According to an announcement made on the morning of February 22, the ministry stated that that the schools will be closed until further notice. The Ministry also ordered  these educational institutions to continue the teaching  and learning processes electronically. Education staff, parents, guardians and students related to the above institutions, have also been urged to closely  monitor their personal health.
