My Thai girlfriend has lost her Thai passport. Does anyone know how she can get a replacement and point me oin the right connection on whom to contact. We are in Thailand now.

First she must report the loss to the police and get a copy of the report.

Then she must visit the Passport office and show them the report and they will advise on what happens next.

My Thai mate had his passport lifted at the new airport in January. He merely went to the same place he got the prior passport, local government office, and it was replaced very quickly.

You do lose your visa stamps so applying for foreign visas and using the prior travel as proof of return to Thailand has to be supported by another proof.

Thai immigration can print out your in and out record, I don't know how far back, five years is my guess, certainly since the U.S. bought them their new computers. A declaration from a fellow traveler whose visa stamps were obtained at the same time as the lost passport holder got hers might work.
