RickG16 Posted April 7, 2021 Share Posted April 7, 2021 These are almost like a more accurate version of the foam roller, and great for unstiffening in areas where the foam roller can't reach easily. I specifically use it to loosen up my around my glute / hip My question is, in terms of stretching, is it best to do so after using it, before using it, or both? BigStar Posted April 10, 2021 Share Posted April 10, 2021 The usual recommendation is to foam roll and then stretch. Intuitively it makes some sense as you get blood flowing to the area first. I don't know that it makes a lot of difference.
