Looks like a perfect example of the limitations of transliteration, in all of the varied and sundry forms that exist out there.

If it's not possible write it in Thai, perhaps you can give some usage context.

Otherwise, ???

I guess it may be ไข้โป้ง and it is a slang word

ไข้ - Fever

โป้ง -Bang (gun sound)

ไข้โป้ง = Be shot by a gun

Wow, Khun BaminA :o

It is so important to have helpful Thai friends contribute here.

You guys are the goods.

:o Could also be Kaipong "ไข่ผง" (Egg Powder) ไข่ = Egg ผง = Powder

or ไข่พอง :o:D

swallen testis (from heat or burnt)

ps. Thank you mangkorn

or ไข่พอง :D:D

ps. Thank you mangkorn

And should that not have been the obvious translation for a mangkorn? :o

Judging by Bellatrix's previous posts concerning Thai boyfriends, 'swollen testes' might well be the translation that she is looking for.

However I put my money on it simply being just a colloquial version of Krap pom ครับผม which comes out sounding like kaipong.

Only if you've got hearing problems.

Huh?! One big hearing "problem" for everyone: no audio on this forum.

Nobody "heard" the OP's question. Only read her brand of transliteration for something she heard, which means nobody can possibly know the answer, without at least some context, in lieu of Thai spelling.

Thanks BambinA, this sounds right, it was from that silly Thaitanium song but I just wanted to know! haha

Thaitanium do use the phrase ไข้โป้ง in at least one of their tracks.

Thaitanium do use the phrase ??????? in at least one of their tracks.

Khun BambinA hits the mark once again. :o
