2004 (2547) Wave 125.

Recommended Posts

Just stripping down and checking over my OZ buddy's Wave he left with me, gonna get it going and use as a spare bike.

Weird things these are to me but after 2 years of just covered up no wonder these bike are bulletproof.

Tyres pumped and OK.

Cleaned dried out front brake reservoir and checking brake caliper.

Will get new battery.

Changed plug.

Will change fuel and clean out tank.

Will see if it starts before Carb checking.

Will get new hand grips.

Will get new footpeg rubbers.

The clutch lever is missing. ????

Where the dam radiator and coolant bottle hiding on these weird things. ????

I think they were optional extras at the time ????

I bought a Wave 100 of similar vintage (Baht 4,500 with no book) for my daughter to learn to ride on a few months ago...and yep, they are a strange breed. Parts are cheap as chips on Lazada for these things ????

They sure can take abusive owners I don't like em but I have to say I have a great respect for waves.
