There was a recent survey that indicated Thailand was the 14th best place to live and that the vast majority of expats were satisfied with living in Thailand.  The countries which were higher on the survey were: Taiwan topped the list, followed by Mexico, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia, Ecuador, Canada, and Vietnam.

 

Chose the option that best describes your 'happiness' about living in Thailand.

I'll put up with them while they put up with me.....

If money was not an issue at all, Thailand wouldn't be my top choice, but all things considered I never regret leaving Western Europe for Thailand more than 20 years ago.

 

In fact, looking at what is going on in the West, I rather congratulate myself for making this choice.

 

(I am a bit surprised that there have been only 2 posts in this thread in 16 hours...I know it's Sunday and most members are attending mass, but yet guys...)

Choice 2 and 3 are very similar IMHO

One choice missing : no and I am looking to move to an other country.

Still happy on balance. Long may it last.
