painai2
I heard a rumor that immigration in Bangkok is enforcing a new law as of Sept. 2007 that I would need a certified translation of the notarized proof of income statement given to me by the US Embassy. I plan to go into Pattaya immigration for a renewal of my retirement visa shortly. Last August, the immigration office in Pattaya accepted the original English version and did not need a Thai translation. Is the English copy still good enough, or do I need to have in translated and certified into Thai?
astral
Why not pop in and ask them? Much better than listening to bar room gossip.
lopburi3
We have not heard of any such requirement. And I really believe we would have heard if there was.
