A senior official of the Ministry of Health has said that the Royal Government of Cambodia is considering vaccination against COVID-19 for under 18s as well as a third dose as the government plans to complete 10 million vaccinations by November.

Her Excellency Dr. Or Vandine, Chairman of the National Committee for the COVID Vaccination 19 Framework, told reporters that if the vaccines ordered by Cambodia continue to arrive in accordance with the procurement plan without any changes by the end of August, the vaccination plan will be completed by the end of October or early November at the latest.

She added that the vaccination against COVID 19 in Cambodia is faster than the master plan, which is scheduled to be completed by mid-2022. She confirmed that following the completion of the COVID-19 vaccination plan for 10 million people, the National COVID-19 Commission is considering further discussions to vaccinate people under the age of 18 and is also considering a third dose or a repeat dose.
