An End To Corruption?

I realize the event isn't in Thailand (Mod), but this is definately a way to cut down on corruption in Thailand. It sure is less appealing than an "inactive post". The Chinese may have something here.

China's former food and drug chief sentenced to death

BEIJING (AFP) - A Beijing court sentenced the former head of China's food and drug administration to death Tuesday on corruption charges for accepting bribes in return for granting approvals to hundreds of medicines. ..........................................It was not immediately known whether Zheng planned to appeal.

"I think he probably will, but the outcome will likely be the same," Chen said.

It would be unlikely that Thailand would consider executing a significant portion of it's police force.

That's often the trouble with these "bright ideas" , they fall at the first hurdle.
