Firefighters tackle blaze at Trump Golf Club

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. —  A fire on Friday, Sept. 10, at Trump National Golf Course Hudson Valley went to three alarms, before it was extinguished.

The East Fishkill Fire Department was dispatched to the course at 178 Stormville Road around 9:20 p.m. 

 

The blaze was located in a structure that houses golf carts and their charging system.

 

Multiple departments were called into battle the fire in the 50-foot-by 100-foot structure.

 

The Fishkill, Rombout, Beekman, Pawling, LaGrange, and Kent fire departments responded. Firefighters were able to clear the scene just before 1 a.m. Saturday.

 

The Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division was called to the scene to assist the East Fishkill Fire Investigation team to determine the cause of the fire. 

 

No determination had been released as of Saturday morning. The extent of damage caused by the blaze was unknown.
