Popular Post webfact
video screenshot Several high-profile scandals have put a spotlight on the workings of the Thai police force, which is directly controlled by the military-backed prime minister. It comes at a time when pro-democracy protests are finding new momentum. A warning, viewers may find some of the images in this report distressing. Popular Post ikke1959
As I wrote before.... Thailand needs to set up a totally new policeforce, organized by a foreign country. AS they did in several places in the world already.

Popular Post spidermike007
Nothing will ever change. Why? Because guys like Prayuth are installed to protect the corrupt among the police, customs, immigration, and within his own administration. And also he is tasked with protecting the super rich, from ever facing any sort of legal jeopardy. The system is rigged beyond being fixed. There is no will to fix it. They have never addressed human trafficking, sex slavery, and abuse in the fishing industry. They have never addressed corruption, on any level. They have never addressed police reform. They have never addressed the multitude of air, water and other environmental issues. They have never addressed public or traffic safety. They appoint based solely on cronyism, and never consider merit, talent, or experience. And this has led to the current catastrophic state of the economy, the Covid response, and the sabotage and destruction of the once vital tourism industry. Prayuth and this administration are the do nothing people. Their sole purpose is to protect the elite, the super rich, corporations, the police, immigration, customs, and those currently in power. Nothing else matters to these dinosaurs. And Thailand will pay the price for this failed regime for years to come. Woe are the people of Thailand. They justly deserve all the criticism, humiliation and shame that can be heaped upon them. And as long as the dinosaurs remain, it will be business as usual, and Thailand will continue in a backwards direction, become less and less relevant as a nation, by the day. Out with the dinosaurs. In with the youth! 8

Popular Post clivebaxter
I remember about 12 years ago when the sister in law sat the Police entrance exam, was looking forward to having a cop in the family thinking it might come in handy one day. Unfortunately she did not meet the pass mark, which they were told was 400k baht- a few years eventual pay! Popular Post tingtongfarang
For a while here in bkk i was dating a police woman, the most corrupt person i have ever known... driving extremely drunk almost unable to walk in a car she had stopped making the payments on ... still on red plates after 3 years, i lived in a dead end street where she would after arriving drunk around 12pm park in the middle of the road with her id hanging from the mirror so everyone around would be afraid to complain, made me very unpopular with people around, I also set a trap for her... i had let her see a wad of dollars in a draw , she thought i did,nt notice she seen it, i set a camera up for her next arrival but had moved the money, she ran down from the bedroom before leaving at 3am and went direct for the desk draw! this is a person swore to protect and serve Edited September 23, 2021 by tingtongfarang 3

Callmeishmael
My wife and I went to Immigration yesterday to get another annual extension for my "Thai Wife" visa. It took us 7 hours to get everything done! While we were waiting I was chatting with another foreigner and we both casually mentioned corruption and agents during our conversation. My wife thought that we were exaggerating, but after talking to an agent who was in line near us, she not only found out we were right, but had a price list for various types of visas! I do everything by the book, but I would swear that Immigration deliberately makes things difficult for us, so that we will be pushed into using an agent!
