Teachers from 11 countries, ASEAN and East Timor will be honoured for their dedication in driving change and education in their home countries at a hybrid event in Bangkok, “The 4th Princess Maha Chakri award ceremony and Regional Conference on Teachers and Equitable Education: All for Education in Southeast Asia” on October 29th and 30th this year.

The teacher from Thailand will be presented with their award at Phang Nga College of Technology, while teachers from 10 other countries will be receive their awards at Thai embassies in their respective countries.

The event will also feature panel discussions on education equality during the pandemic, how to reduce students’ deteriorating learning ability and how to support teachers at this difficult time.

No local teachers 'driving change' on the list? The Thai educational  system is stagnated?

Foreign teachers in Thailand don't get to change much, just follow the rut in the road.
