Jaunty
Can anyone please kindly advise the monetary requirements, ie funds needed in bank, to successfully apply for a non o single or multi entry based in marriage to a thai from an embassy/consulate in the UK? Applicant is a British national. I'm not sure at which embassy or consulate the application will be made.

But if it has been reinstated that would be good news....
UKresonant
UK consulates are shut and generally no longer possible for Visa issuance. London just appears to direct to;- https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/how-to-apply-for-thailand-s-e-visa-stickerless?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd000733c No multi entry, unless there is some good news listed somewhere in there... ubonjoe
You can only get a single entry non-o visa. You will apply on the e visa site. Requirements for the non-o visa can be found near the bottom of this page. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84508-non-immigrant-visas?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5f4b6eb3f6ae4b236972c562 The equivalent of 20k baht in any bank is enough to apply for the visa. The 20k baht is the standard amount to apply for most visas.
kelboy
Bank statement or proof of earnings, I did it 2 months ago was pretty straightforward. Good luck. 1

When I applied in September it didn't have to be in for any specified time, just a balance of £1000.
