Anybody Buy Lost Season 3?

Ok, I bought Lost S3 in two parts. Part 1 which is 4 DVDs and Part 2 which is 3 DVDs you can see there's an obvious difference b/w Part 1 and Part 2. Part 2 looks more professional and Part 2 has 4 episodes per DVD whereas Part 1 the print quality is dubious and there are only 2 episodes per DVD. This is them pushing their luck I'm afraid since they charge per DVD so the less episodes on each DVD the better for htem.

Anyway, because there's only 2 episodes per DVD for Part 1 it goes from Episode 1 - 8 and Part 2 starts at Episode 13

So it's missing Episode 9,10,11,12

Did you buy Lost Season 3 Part 1 and is it like Part 2? On my part 2 DVDs the printing is most green color which a single character on each DVD but this other Part 1 it's blue with more than one character.

I think they've screwed up but putting only 2 episodes on a single DVD such that they only use 2 GIG per DVD is blatant daylight robbery.

I know my vendor will fix things but I want to know what your experience was.

Buying Thai copied DVD's is just as much blatant daylight robbery as downloading the episodes from the internet.

....at least the internet-downloads are better quality and season 3 finished broadcasting 2 weeks ago.

My comment on the DVD's: spend the money on adsl instead.

Lost: Season 3 will be released on DVD in December, 2007.

You have purchased a home-produced set of DVD's, made from downloaded AVI's. Obviously the person burning the DVD's screwed up and/or forgot to include one DVD. If you are unhappy with the product simply return it to the point of purchase for an exchange/refund.

Three or four eps. per DVD should yield reasonable quality, any more than that and the quality will suffer a bit. (Assuming an AVI for a single show is ~ 360 MB {43 minutes}; so you can archive 10 ~ 12 eps. per DVD.)

The official DVD set is seven discs, but has extras.

Lost: Season 3 had 23 episodes, eps. 49 - 71. (The season finale was a two-parter.)
