Ghislaine Maxwell Praises Trump as Gentleman in DOJ Transcripts

Ghislaine Maxwell, former associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has expressed admiration for US president Donald Trump in newly released transcripts. The documents, made public by the US Department of Justice, detail a July exchange where Maxwell commended Trump, asserting that she never observed any inappropriate conduct from him.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, stated, "I actually never saw the president in any type of massage setting." She further emphasised, "The president was never inappropriate towards anybody." In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects."

The meeting, organised while Trump faced scrutiny over his connections to Epstein, involved Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. He sought details from Maxwell about any crimes possibly committed against victims. However, Blanche clarified that the published transcripts include "every word" except for victims' names, aiming to quash any claims of concealment.

Maxwell also dismissed rumours regarding a supposed "client list," a topic of rampant conspiracy theories among some Trump supporters. Al Jazeera reported that the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein case is likely to spark debates following the release of these transcripts.

The contents have sparked renewed interest in how Trump and Epstein's relationship is handled by authorities. The transcripts may further fuel public discourse, though no new revelations have been disclosed regarding criminal activity.

The focus remains on how this information impacts the ongoing narrative regarding Epstein's associations and whether additional figures may be implicated.

you do understand she is a proven perjurer under oath, right? Do you know what that means? You do know that she was questioned by Trump's personal lawyer, who got a DOJ job, but is still Trump's lawyer... If they were at all serious in any way other than a coverup, they would have had a career prosecutor from the case questioning her, although why she was questioned in the first place makes no sense at all other than as a distraction. She said what they wanted to hear, so they rewarded her with a move to Club Fed. Highly unusual and never done for juvenile rapists, which is what she is

Stop talking nonsense, Ghislaine Maxwell was never tried or convicted of perjury.

Maxwell was never tried or convicted of perjury: The charges were separated from her other counts prior to her 2021 trial, and when she sought a retrial of her sex trafficking charges, prosecutors offered to drop the perjury charges as long as her conviction on the other, more serious, counts was allowed to stand.

I would have thought most defendants brought up in court how do you plead ? Not guilty and at end of trial jury finds you guilty I assume the idea of perjury ( not guilty) is a given

See, that's just the kind of thing Donald Trump would never say. Because he's a gentleman. He may say "sleazebag", but never "scumbag". It's these little differences that make the true gentleman.

and he greases before anal, a real toff.

People like Trump, Clinton and prince Andrew do not need the likes of Epstein/Maxwell to arrange extra-curricular sexual activity.  Far more interesting is Epstein's involvement in finance, and the means by which he became so wealthy.

I like this part of the interview! 🤣🤣🤣

“I just want to say that I find – I – I admire his extraordinary achievement in becoming the president now,” Maxwell said. “And I like him, and I’ve always liked him.”

She's right of course, it's an extraordinary achievement, to become president a second time, a bit like when Muhammad Ali came back to be Heavyweight Champion. Now, I'm not saying Trump is a world class heavyweight boxer, but he would beat the living daylights out of Bernie Sanders.

I am regarded as a "lefty" by the MAGA morons and this neither riles me up nor excites me. The fact that she said that is in fact the least surprising bit of "news" I've read in a very, very long time.

SNL version:

Blanche: Did you ever see Donald Trump acting inappropriately?

Maxwell: Who?

So MAGAs who've been touting this client list for years, in order to smear the Dems, were lying?

Glad to know that! 🤣🤣🤣

MAGA m's are so ridiculous they cannot even see the coercive incentive or ulterior motive, as the pressure of a long sentence could incentivize someone to tailor their statements to please those with power over their fate.

Meaningless.  I doubt anybody, except the victims, likely witnessed this or that serial killer acting inappropriately, either.  Instead, it's usually, "Why, he always seemed like such a nice man."

Hmm, let me see. Tell the truth and remain in jail for a long time, or lie my ass off, get pardoned and spend the rest of my life in freedom. What a conundrum, whatever should I do?

Did anyone expect Maxwell to say anything else? Certainly after having been briefed by Trump’s very own lawyer, who also just happens to be the number two guy in the DOJ?

My bet is that she’s going to get pardoned somewhere in 2026, she leaves the country and then more or less vanishes from the face of the earth. And no one will ever hear from her again.

Ha! Not even a good try. Releasing her statement and the trump DOJ checked document to try to end questions about trump involvement. Even the checked trump DOJ blacked out files will not exonerate trump from his association and being mentioned so many times in the records. As to his actual participation? I doubt we will ever know good enough to present as court evidence. He can’t help himself … recent statement that pretty women were begging him to send troops to Chicago …

It is worth noting that is she had any real dirt on Trump, the Biden DOJ would have given her immunity for it.

But whatever you do, do not think about that.
