Renewing 5-year Thai license and adding motorcycle license - need proof of residency?

When I got my 2-year, then 5-year car license all I needed was my work permit from my school.

From what I have been reading - that might not be adequate anymore.

If I am just renewing my car license (and hopefully taking the test and adding a motorcycle license), do I need to get proof of residency, or is a current drivers license enough?

Side topic:  what is necessary to add the motorcycle license?  I assume a paper test and a small driving demonstration.

I assume I need a motorcycle license to legally drive a 150 CC motorcycle in Thailand.

Thank you for your information.

If you have a work permit 2 copies one for each DL applying for.

Along with all paperwork you needed to get your 2 year DL.

You will probably have to book a test for a motorcycle DL.

Your car license renewal no problem.
