Popular Post webfact
By Arun Saronchai Prayut Chan-ocha’s position as prime minister seems more precarious and difficult as ever after news emerged late Wednesday that controversial and influential ex-minister Thammanat Prompao would be leaving the ruling party. The former coup-leader and army chief could see as many as 22 MPs leave the ruling coalition to join Thammanat’s new party and jeopardize his plans for economic recovery and his agenda for post-pandemic growth. According to sources inside the ruling Palang Pracharath Party, Thammanat took exception after being blamed for two by-election losses in the south last Sunday. Popular Post Thailand
A "general" election will still end up with men in uniforms wearing civvies running the country. Just different "generals" Nothing changing here for some years- unless! 6

Just different "generals" Nothing changing here for some years- unless! Right! Nothing will change. Different generals, or alternatively civilian puppets of the same yellow/green network. The unelected Senate will still be the king maker, and the yellow/green network also still controls the judiciary and the various agencies. It's just a question of which faction of the yellow/green network will dominate at one point of time. It's not so clear now. 2

I hope the coupmongering swine are unhappy for the rest of their pathetic lives after what they have done to decent people in Thailand. 8 1

Maejo Man
"Thammanat Prompao spent four years in a Sydney jail in the 1990s after pleading guilty to conspiring to import more than three kilograms of heroin" Cut to present day Thailand and here we find him touting for the top job!
