The companies, which have just unveiled their design, are reusing nine types of recyclable materials such as plastic bottles and nylon fishing nets in order to create colorful amulets imprinted with images of the Buddha. The plastic amulets on offer have received their alleged magical potency from blessings uttered on them by Buddhist monks, according to their makers. “The idea of the plastic amulet is a result of finding a connection between the environment and Thai culture,” said Krit Phutpim, a director of Dots Design Studio, one of the companies involved. How can cheap, recycled plastic amulets possibly be imbued with the supernatural charge, magical power, spiritual energy, and miraculous efficacy we need and rely on? This idea will surely come to naught. Edited February 16, 2022 by Hayduke 2

They can make a ton of amulets from those, and they will bring good energy and karma since masks in their precious life saved lives.

I'll tell you what they are actually "seeking". Hefty profits from the gullible. You could just hang an empty plastic bottle around your neck to attain the same "magical powers" these two charlatan companies claim their "trash amulets" to possess. 3
