I find it a bit odd that every Thai registered company's financial statements are available in an online database.

Is there any way to keep these financial records private?

I can see a scenario where a future-competitor is able to see how well your product/service, or geographical location is.

There is no way to keep this information private.

The reports available are the annual statements, which give the big numbers for the business. There is no breakdown of individual product sales, no regional information, etc.

A competitor can tell how profitable a company is, but they can't tell what the company did to make the money.

The exception is Public Limited Companies, who tend to volunteer more information to their shareholders.
