Device to check cholesterol at home in Bangkok

I am not aware of any such device available anywhere in Thailand.

There are, however, several labs where you can easily get a full lipid panel done on demand for a couple hundred baht.

Lipids do nto change that rapidly, there is no need to monitor more than once every couple of months.

There appears to be some devices on Shopee and Lazada targeting Thai market. I'm not sure how trustworthy or reliable they are though.

e.g.:

Thanks Sheryl, that's a possible alternative that I hadn't thought of. Do you know of inexpensive places in Bangkok to do a full lipid panel?

https://www.medconsultasia.com/services/#

(located Sukhumvit Soi 49 in the Racquet club. English spoken, caters to expats)

https://www.pathlab.co.th/

(Thai speaking, English may be an issue)

(ditto. Also a bto hard to find, buried in back sois of Lardprao)

I have some oil of the snake that you can use to expedite these results

Aside from my previous hilarious comment, I would question the validity of the results - if cholesterol levels (more on that) are of concern, I would not wish to trust an all singing all dancing piece of $15 dollar machinery.

I would also add that this will probably (at best) only be able to detect total cholesterol - which has limited value and would very likely be easily skewed if not in a fasted state etc......
