The pickup truck driver, whose name was not given by Mueang Chonburi police, was emotional and told rescue workers that the motorbike rider immediately came out from a smaller road when he arrived at a curve. He tried to avoid the collision but failed.

Begs the question, how fast was he going approaching the curve I guess

i thought I saw on another site she hit the back of the truck but maybe not.  Sounds more like a distracted biker just running into an intersection/road.  No ID?  No age?  No license?  I know, western standards don't apply there

Id  say it begs the question   1.how  stupid  do  you  have to be to a wear a  mask  but  no  helmet, seems  the majority and 2 how even more  stupid  do  you  have to be to sail out  of  any junction without  stopping first, again the majority do  this.......Il  leave out 3. total  lack of  attention span by Thais often gawking at whats  going on at the side of the road or  their phone.
